Did He or Didn't He: Stay at the Chelsea?

Does this guy look familiar? Famous French philosopher Jean Baudrillard used to "always stay at the Chelsea," according to an interview in Rita Barros' book "15 Years at the Chelsea."  Baudrillard was in town recently to promote his new book, "The Conspiracy of Art."  He was interviewed by Deborah Solomon for the New York Times Magazine, but he doesn't mention his beloved Hotel Chelsea in the interview. However, he did declare: "There are no more French intellectuals."
