Former Chelsea Hotel resident Robert Mapplethorpe is featured in "Robert Mapplethorpe and the Classical Tradition: Photographs and Mannerist Prints." Robert Mapplethorpe and Patti Smith moved into the Chelsea in July 1969 and immediately felt at home in the creative chaos that is the Chelsea.
