George Chemeche reads at the Bowery Poetry Club. George Chemeche is an artist, author and curator. He checked into the Chelsea Hotel in 1972 for one night and he is still there. Thus he refers to his work as the " Chelsea years." His book of poems, Rebecca from Tribeca is due soon. His writing is ironic and satiric: "I write bad poems for those who hate good ones."
